HUNGER GAMES!

For all of you who don't know Liam Hemsworth is my love. I'm borderline creepy obsessed with this man and his good looks. He's the hottest thing that's ever walked this planet and i've been obsessed with him since I saw his handsome face in the movie The Last Song.

Sooooo can you guess how excited I was when they said he was going to play the character Gale from the book, The Hunger Games in the MOVIE! BAHH! The cast they picked seriously was perfect. Liam is perfect for Gale, Josh is perfect for Peeta and Jennifer Lawrence is perfect for Katniss.

I'm freaking STOKED for this movie.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

House Hunting!

BAHHH! I am super duuuuuper excited for two reasons:

1. We are moving out of farm land and into town, which will include neighbors and no more long A** drive to town!
2. We get to look at houses to buy!

Bret told me if I agreed to stay in Wyoming that we could buy a house in a neighborhood that's more my style of living. Horrrrayyyy! This is huge people! You're probably wondering why didn't we buy a house in town to start off with? Welllllllllll, the reason why we live out in this stupid state to begin with is because my dad has one of his companies over here and he needed someone to be the manager. So when Bret got out of the military he wasn't sure what he wanted to do so my lovely daddy gave him the job. My dad also has a house located right next to his company along with 500 acres of farm. So when Bret took the job, my dad let him live in the house therefore, we have been living in my dad's house out on the farm by his company for the past year. Bret is pretty much in heaven out here. It's located like 400 yards from his job, he has tons of land to play on with all his toys like motorcycle and whatever. And I must say, it's beautiful out here. BUT! That's not the point. Point is, this little city girl would like to have an urban lifestyle. So Bret has agreed to start looking at houses and hopefully moving into town by this Winter.
Here are a couple we have been looking at in case you cared. I'm so excited about it I make my sister look at every single house that comes to interest so I might as well share a few on my bloggy!

House Number UNO!
Haha yeahhhh right, I wish! We looked at this house and I was in HEAVEN but obviously we can't afford this baby. :(

House Number 1! (for reals)

This one is Bret's favorite, let me show you why....

It's borderline country home. With 2 acres and a huuuuuuge yard that it doesn't show in the picture. It's my second favorite because it's in a really nice neighborhood but Bret can still have room to play around in.

House number 2! (My favorite! Which will most likely be the winner!)

Awww, isn't she just the cutest? It's weird that both of these houses happen to be red. Anyway! Located in the cutest neighborhood ever with the nicest neighbors! Hopefully this will soon be our new home! My favorite part about this house is this...

Huuuuge fan of the kitchen! It's updated and more my style :)

I'm dying to move! And hopefully one of these fab houses get to be our new home. I'll let you know once the decision has been made! :)

Blogger, I missed you!

To say I am the worst blogger ever, would be an understatement.
Ha sorry peeps! I've been a little MIA in the blogger world, but guess what? I'm baaaaaack!
This post is just going to consist of a big fat long story about what the heck is going on in Em's life! So here it goes...
As you all know, I got married a year ago to the most wonderful sexiest man on this planet, Bret Younts! (Ha sorry, had to insert a little hubby brag) Anyway! So after I got married I moved out to the middle of tim buck two, Worland Wyoming. Ever heard of it? Probably not since it's the smallest town EVER! And actually to be exact, we live 10 miles outside of Worland, in farm land. Needless to say, I wasn't a fan of farm land. Yep, definitely NOT A FAN of freaking mice crawling on my head in bed, smell of cow poo, Bret catching rattle snakes and putting them in the garage. Everything about it was not my cup of tea. So I was a big negative nancy and refused to accept this place. After about 6 months of constant unhappiness for me, Bret and I sat down and came up with a plan for us, so I wouldn't be such a cranky butt. At the time I had about 2 years left of school, so Bret and I decided since we had done the long distance prior to getting married we could do it while being married. Bret told me I could go back to Boise (Boise the land of paradise and luxury compared to this place) and go back to Boise State and finish my degree. We got a small apartment so when we went back and forth we had our own little place to stay. So that's where I was the past 5 months or so, living back in Boise in my tiny apartment getting straight A's and missing my hubs tremendously. Now, the question is was I happy? Heck freaking no! Lesson learned for me, I would rather live in the middle of no where with the mice and snakes and cow poo with my adorable little Bret Thomas than in the city filled with malls, restaurants, WAL MARTS, and something we call, POPULATION. Ok, fine I would move back there in a heartbeat and I beg Bret every day to leave Wyoming.
Conclusion to the story, once I finished that loooooong amazing lonely semester of school I came back to my little country home to be a happy and supportive wifey to live with my husband forever and ever amen.
So what's next for this little happy couple? Well, I would love to say, Bret found a better job in civilization and we're packing up and moving out! Yeahhhh, not so much. Bret loves his job here, and continues to grow from it. So Wyoming is where we will be!
So now that I have completed a long boring book about a bunch of nothing. I will start posting updates and keeping ya'll in-tuned more with yours truly! :)

Live. Love.& Be Thankful.

Can I just start off with how insanely thankful I am for the invention of airplanes! Seriously, without an airplane I would not be traveling to that wonderful state we call Idaho this Saturday! AHH, I am so excited to see my amazing family and my crazy friends. If we didn't have those amazing air craft’s then I would be waiting until the day before Thanksgiving to DRIVE back to Idaho with Bret. Yeah, no thanks!

Well, I wanted to write a blog initiating Thanksgiving and to let you all know what I am thankful for. I am so blessed in my life that at times I need to remind myself what I really should be thankful for. So here we go.

1. My Daddy!

I am so thankful to have such a strong, intelligent dad that did the very best he could raising me as a single parent. Not just me, but my twin sister and little brother as well. So that would equal 3 teenagers and a single dad under one roof. I'm sure there were times he wanted to send us all to the adoption agency but he was a trooper and raised 3 amazing children into 3 awesome adults. He has provided us with an incredible amount of things to be thankful for. He always wants to take care of us no matter how old we get, bless his heart. :)

2. The rest of the Family.

My family is as crazy as it comes, but I'm so thankful they are my family! My husband, who puts up with me and continues to show how much he truly loves me. My mom, who is always there for me whenever I need her, any day or any night. My gorgeous, loving, courageous older sister who I continue to learn from. My TWIN, who happens to be my best friend. I talk to her every single day sometimes for hours or sometimes we will hang up after talking for a minute and call back 10 minutes later. Let’s just say I am always on my phone, which 95% of the time is with her. I honestly don't know who I would I be without her. As cheesy as it sounds, she really is my other half. My HILARIOUS little brother, who makes me laugh so hard every time I'm with him. He comes from a family of all girls so he's a little sensitive but I'm so thankful I get to have him here to make me laugh, and to show me new things every day. Of course my babies! My as cute as can be niece, Madison and my nephews, Kaden, Austin and Kyler. Those kids are my world.

3. My Education.

I am so very thankful for the schools I get to attend in order to further my education and eventually accomplish my career goal in becoming a High School English teacher. I never saw myself as a teacher. I always wanted to do something with Fashion or become a Journalist but as I got more into school I realized I had this gift connecting with older kids which most people can't do. So I figured I would do something with this quality of mine, which is to teach them! I'm so thankful that my lovely dad is able to pay for my expensive tuition. I know some parents would not pay 4 years of tuition for their children. So I will take that gift to my advantage and complete my schooling!

4. My Health

I am thankful that I am still very healthy and I have never had to deal with any serious illness. And when I am sick I am thankful for the wonderful healthcare I have to make sure I get all better! I am also thankful that my family is healthy as well. We have been so lucky to have such healthy babies and parents. :)

5. My Home.

Now that winter is practically here. I am so thankful I have a nice, warm home over my head every night when I go to sleep and every morning I wake up. I know there are people who don't have the luxury of a heated house in the winter, and it breaks my heart to think people have to struggle to stay warm when here I am laying in bed pushing off the covers because I have the heater up too high : /. That's why I love to help those in need whenever I get a chance.

Well those are the top 5 things I felt were the most important to be thankful for every single day. Now here is my list of some 'not so important' things but are still things I am thankful to have in my daily life.

-My laptop! Thank you for...well... everything.

-My running shoes. Thank you for keeping my feet running strong.

-My outstanding hair dresser back in Idaho. Thank you God, she is a gift!

-I feel stupid for saying this but, Facebook. Thank you for letting me stay in touch with all my old friends and family.

-My Chi! Thank you for keeping my crazy hair straight.

-My snowboard gear. Thank you for keeping me warm and stylish :)

-My Uggs! Thank you for keeping my feet warm and being a perfect shoe to wear when I feel grungy.

-My itunes/ipod. Thank youuuuuu for holding my thousands of songs for me!

-My perfume! Thank you for making me smell so good.

-My directTV. Thank you for letting me watch all my favorite shows each week.

-Online banking. Thank you for always being there when I forget how much money I spend.

-My dishwasher. Thank for washing my dirty dishes, so my lazy bum doesn't have to.

-My bed. Thank you for being soooooo comfy each night I lay in you.

Ok, ok! I really could go on and on, but I'll stop now. I hope whoever is reading this knows how thankful I am for everything I have. My life is amazing and just like most people I tend to take things for granted that I shouldn't. Thank goodness for thanksgiving to put all that stuff back into perspective!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving with the ones they love.

I know I will, and I am so blessed to have that. :)

Home is where my heart is.

"When you're young, your whole life is about the pursuit of fun. Then, you grow up and learn to be cautious. You could break a bone or a heart. You look before you leap and sometimes you don't leap at all because there's not always someone there to catch you. And in life, there's no safety net. When did it stop being fun and start being scary?”

With the holidays just around the corner it has been making me miss home like crazy! Halloween is this weekend and it makes me sad that we won't be getting any cute little trick or treaters since we live in the middle of timbuck two. I really miss having my annual family holiday traditions at home but I guess that’s what comes with getting married, you have to start your own. I'm really bummed that I don't get to spend Halloween with my twin! We usually do everything together and thinking about my baby niece all dressed up going out and getting yummy candy really makes me wish I could be a part of it. Even though I talk to my twin sister probably 510 times a day, it’s just not the same. But! The good news is I get to fly home for a week for thanksgiving and my whole family will be in town so I just need to be patient. Anyway! I haven't updated the little blog for a while, so I thought I would do a brief update.

BEST FRIENDS

Wyoming SUCKS in the winter. It's already starting to get soooooo cold and I'm scared to think it's going to get 10 xs colder than this. What keeps me excited is that once the mountains get more snow I get to go snowboarding soon with my cute boarding buddy, the hubby! But I can tell you that when we are not up on the mountain, I will be snuggled up in my house with a big blanket and hot chocolate hibernating from this place. What can I say? I'm a baby when it comes to the cold. A big baby!

So on a personal note, Bret and I have some huge decisions coming up to make for our lives and they are definitely not going to be easy. I will let everyone know, once the decision has been made. For now, life is going amazing over here in our little country home. We both have been so busy with work and what not that we haven't really had time to do anything together. So one night Bret came home from a long day at work and I thought he was going to head to the gym like he normally does. Instead, he had picked up some pumpkins and surprised me with a pumpkin carving night! It was a much needed break from our daily boring routine and I loved having our own tradition together for our first holiday.

Soooo …enough details about my boring life. I decided i'm going to let ya’ll in on a little secret. As much as I do not want to admit this but I am OBSESSED with Taylor Swifts new album! Yes… I'm a T-Swift fan. But her new CD is pretty much amazing! I listen to it every morning in the shower and every time I’m cooking in the kitchen. Yeah I'm a big nerd. I know. But I just looove it! My other guilty pleasure is reality TV shows. But all my favs just ended their seasons. So my newest one i'm addicted to now is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Looove it! Oh and I can't wait for Kim and Kourtney Take New York! Once again, I'm a nerd.

Hmm... Well that's about all I have for an update about this little lady. Carving pumpkins and jammin’ out to Taylor has really been my only excitement in the past month. Don't you worry though; there is exciting news on the way!!! So stay tuned. :)

FALL FALL FALL... in love with life.

Okay, so first off! When I started my blog I thought I would be updating it everyday with lots of stories and pictures of my life, but I have been so crazy busy I haven't even been on this thing since I made it. Everyone has been telling me I need to update my blog so they can read it. Soooo ready, update time!

Summer is pretty much over :( boo. This summer was probably the best summer of my life. I got married, went to Alaska, I went zip lining for the first time, I got a new nephew! I got to go to Seattle a few times and spend time with my best friend! When I was at home I spent most of my time decorating my home. I was inside painting every wall and Bret was outside working on the yard. It has turned out so cute. I love how homey it is now, but I can definitely say in a couple years, I’ll be ready to live in a neighborhood instead of out in the country.

Pretty much all of August I had been resisting school starting, but it had to start sooner or later. Since I moved to a tiny town I wasn't sure how I was going to continue school. I was debating if I should do it online through Montana State, or stay at Boise State and do it online and fly home every monrth for my tests. But then! I found a small school that was only a little over an hour away called North West College. It has a great English program and they offer some of the classes here in my town so I wouldn’t have to commute as much. Well, I like to be busy so I loaded up my schedule with classes and got a part time job. So my schedule entails, Working every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-4. Then I have class Monday and Wednesday night from 6-8. Then, I go to school Tuesdays and Thursdays all day from 9:30 to 6! So that's why I have not had time to get on here. I'm a busy little girl! I do have to say, I love, love, LOVE my classes. My favorite is probably Creative Writing and Education Psychology. I love writing and I love learning about teaching. So those I really enjoy going to.

We are now moving into my favorite seasons! Fall and then winter! I love Fall because of many different reasons, one being my Birthday duh. Then, Football season, harvest season, halloween, the fall decorations I get to put up in my house! And of course, fall clothes! I love fall fashion and all the fun clothes I get to shop for and wear. Boots, scarfs, jackets, uggs, hats, and cardigans, Ahh love it! I'm a big baby when it comes to the cold, but I am obsessed with snowboarding. So that makes winter my favorite season. Now that I am living in Wyoming, I'm so stoked to go down to Jackson and go boarding there. We have another resort that's only 40 min. away. So I will definitely be spending almost all my free time up on the mountain. Just thinking about it gets me excited!

Moving on! Okay, so everyone has been asking me why I changed my name back on Facebook. So let me tell you why. The first couple months, I'm not going to lie, I have been struggling giving up my independence and the one thing I missed the most was my last name :(. It was hard to be the student who was called last on the roll sheet in class. When I was always use to being in the middle of it. I know that's not something I should care about, but it was weird! Everyone says the first year of marriage is the hardest and oh boy! Is it! There are so many changes, and things you have to adjust to. Not to mention, living somewhere where I don't fit in at all, and living with someone who is so opposite than me. But everything is so great with Bret and I, it's not our relationship I struggle with, it's the adjusting to married life that is hard for me.

Some days are harder then others, but I just have to remind myself why I married Bret and how much I truly love the kid. He is amazing. One thing that used to bother me when we were dating was that he wasn’t very religious, and was not a fan of going to church. I would try and try to get him to go with me but he always refused. Ever since we got married though, he has been going with me. At first, I thought it was just for me, but now I’m starting to think it’s for him too. He knows how important having faith in Jesus Christ and God is to me and how important it is to have it in our marriage and our home. That alone, shows me what a great husband I have, and how much he loves me. I was worried that it might be a big issue that we were going to struggle with in our marriage, but we haven't had a problem with it at all. He is so supportive and I love it and I personally think he actually enjoys going. :) Speaking about being married, everyone has been asking me, "when are you guys going to have a baby?" The answer to that, is definitely not for a FEW years. I'm thinking maybe once I finish school, and when we find our place we want to call our home. (Which will probably be Boise, Idaho area). Then we can start talking babies. Right now, I'm just enjoying playing with my neice and nephews and helping out my sisters with their kids.I love those little kiddos so much.

On a bad note, the last couple of weeks have been hard on us because Bret just recently found out his mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is they caught it soon enough that she will just need surgery and we're praying that after that, the cancer will stay gone. So we are heading to Idaho this weekend for his moms surgery and to see his family.

So... I’m a nerd, and I have this thing that I do every semester when school starts which is, I make goals for myself to hopefully complete by the end of the semester. My goals for this semester are…

-Straights A's (Obviously).

-Have a positive attitude towards my school and living in Wyoming.

-Learn a new recipe to cook once a month.

-Talking to my family at least once a week. (Except Mis I talk to her everyday).

-Attend Church on a regular basis.

-Travel somewhere with Bret where we have never been before.

-Start running every day again.

-Make a new friend.

-Not let my dad spoil me so much. (I know I know, sad but true.)

And the last goal is, is to be the best wife I can be. I need to work on supporting Bret's job here and not being such a negative bum about it.

Well peeps! That's about it for my update since I got married. Everyday there is always something new and exciting happening in my little life way out here in the middle of nowhere, so I will try harder to update as much as I can. I hope you enjoyed! :)

City Girl Meets Country Boy.

I love to write and I love to tell everyone my life stories! So I figured, I might as well start blogging. So here it goes! :)

I just recently got married on June 5th to Mr. Bret Thomas Younts. We met my senior year of High School. He was in the Marine Corps stationed in California and was deployed to Iraq twice during our relationship. So, long distance was our thing. After he got out of the military he moved back to Idaho! This was the day I had been looking forward to since we started dating! But just kidding, after a month of him living back home my dad gave him an amazing job opportunity in Wyoming. (Boo!) So he was gone again living in a small town, 10 hours away from me. We had already been doing the long distance thing for 3 years, so I was over it and Bret was too, so he proposed!

After my amazing, fairy tale wedding that was held in McCall, Idaho and a long, fun, adventurous honeymoon. I packed up my room and headed to Worland, Wyoming to start my life with my little family.
We have lived here now for 3 months, and this place has definitely made me not take things for granted like, Targets, Walmart, movie theatres and my hair salon! :( I thought I was from a small town originally but nothing compares to this place. Our house is literally, in the middle of no where. We live on 500 acres of farm and the town is 10 miles away. So far, I've had to learn how to cook because there are no places to go to eat. (Which I enjoyed). I've learned to ride a dirt bike and shoot a gun. I've encountered a rattle snake and lots of mice (one which was in my bed and crawled on my head. I cried). Everytime we go somewhere Bret has to look for deer or if he sees a racoon we have to stop so he can shoot it.
For people who know me, this is NOT me. I like to shop, go out with my friends, lay out by a pool, and go to fun events. Hello, I have married the total opposite of myself. Even though I hate hunting, I hate bugs, and I hate that we don't have a mall. I am loving being married to my best friend and letting him teach me things I never knew about myself.
Somedays I really miss my family, friends, my old job and my school. But for now I am living day by day with my amazing husband in our amazing little home creating memories so one day we can look back at them and say, "Hey babe, remember that one time that mouse crawled on your head in our bed when we lived in that small podunk town".
